A native of Charlotte, Rob graduated from East Carolina University. He is a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. Rob also holds the distinguished CCIM designation. After a brief career in the environmental industry, he joined his family's real estate business in 1992, becoming the third generation of Pressley's to be affiliated with the company.

Rob is President of MECA Commercial Real Estate. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, he is very active in the brokerage and development of real estate. During his career as a practicing broker Rob has completed hundreds transactions in the areas of land, investment, retail, office and industrial real estate. His clients include banks, small and large corporate entities, investors, developers, non-profits and various governmental entities. As a developer, Rob has been involved in the development of a number of land and mixed use projects in Charlotte area and has, over the last 20 years, been very involved in MECA's redevelopment of the South End neighborhood. He is also a current and past member of ULI, CNU, ICSC and CCIM Institute.

As a volunteer, Rob is a Past President of the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors where he has been an active member since its inception. In addition to his service to the real estate industry, Rob has been an active member of a number of non-profit community organizations including Boy Scouts, Community School of the Arts, Charlotte Chamber, Metrolina Business Council and Charlotte's City Committee. He is a past recipient of Charlotte's 40 under 40 Award and previous member of Belmont, NC Planning and Zoning Board. He is currently serving as President of Belmont Trolley, Inc.

Rob and his wife Kathy live in Charlotte with their five children. Together they enjoy golf, hiking, travel and spending time outside of Charlotte at their beach home in Debordieu, SC.
