Pete brings over 30 years of combined experience in Fortune 500 companies and commercial real estate, where he has built a global network across various industries. Pete holds the esteemed CCIM designation and specializes in commercial and investment real estate, focusing on land acquisition, multi-family properties, market analysis, and commercial appraisal. His portfolio management experience includes office, retail, and industrial sectors. Before joining MECA, Pete owned a full-service brokerage in southeastern NC. He continues to maintain strong relationships in both southeastern NC and the Charlotte region.
An active industry volunteer, Pete has been honored with the REALTOR® of the Year award by the Brunswick County Association of REALTORS® and received the NC-CCIM Chapter President’s Award. He has held numerous leadership roles, including serving as the President of the Brunswick County Association of REALTORS®, and board positions with the NC-CCIM Chapter, including serving as past President, CRCBR, and the Wilmington Commercial Association. Pete holds a BS in Business Administration from UNC Chapel Hill and an MBA from Wake Forest University. He is also a licensed Certified General Appraiser and owns River Sound Inc. Outside of work, Pete enjoys coaching kids’ sports and spending time with his three children: John, Joe, and Seth.
