Gantt Howell is a Senior Land Advisor at MECA and brings years of commercial real estate experience encompassing brokerage, development, design, and entitlement of numerous projects in the greater Charlotte MSA. A native of Charlotte, he holds a B.A. in Economics from Elon College.
His passion for real estate began with personally owning and investing in income-producing properties, eventually leading him to land development. Gantt leverages his extensive firsthand experience as an investor and developer to provide valuable insights to his clients, including many of the region’s largest landowners, developers, and builders.
Gantt is a licensed real estate broker in North and South Carolina and is an active member of the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He has received multiple accolades, including the CRCBR Circle of Excellence/Deal Maker Silver Award and the Coldwell Banker Commercial Circle of Distinction Award. Gantt is known for his strong client relationships, tenacity and creativity, and successful property prospecting, including the notable off-market sale of a 181-acre property at UNCC.
