Sam is a Partner and Senior Advisor at MECA, specializing in industrial, commercial land, and investment properties. Before joining MECA in 2015, he spent 10 years as a project manager and estimator for several large construction firms successfully managing millions of dollars in commercial projects ranging from large institutional buildings to small retail up-fits.
Earning the distinguished Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 2018, Sam has achieved notable success, including the sale of six buildings in downtown Mt. Holly and assisting in the opening of Burn Boot Camps in Belmont and Wesley Chapel. He facilitated the sale of 12 acres in Bessemer City to a townhome developer, resulting in the construction of 90+ homes, and sold 725 Elm Street for the City of Mount Holly to Old Mecklenburg Brewery for a major redevelopment along the Catawba River. Sam now focuses his efforts in Gaston County, NC.
In addition to his professional achievements, Sam has been recognized with the Coldwell Banker Commercial Protégé of the Year in 2018, the Mount Holly Vision Award in 2019, and membership in the Coldwell Banker Commercial Silver Circle. He is actively involved in the community, serving as a Board Member for the Mt. Holly Chamber of Commerce and the Gaston Regional Chamber, and volunteers for One7 Ministries that provides support and resources to at-risk youth.
Sam currently resides in Belmont, NC, with his three children: Camryn, Jackson, and Tyler.
