Tré Hinton

Tré Hinton joined MECA as a Property Manager in the Charlotte office, bringing experience in both commercial real estate and community association management. He is responsible for overseeing commercial properties throughout the region, focusing on operational efficiency, tenant relations, and long-term asset performance.

Born in Charleston, South Carolina, Tré earned his undergraduate degree in English in 2016. His background as a writer and former editor sharpened his attention to detail and communication skills, strengths that serve him well in the fast-paced world of property management. Tré began his career in property management with Community Association Management Ltd., where he spent four years developing strong organizational systems and operational procedures. He later joined MPV Properties, LLC, where he worked for two years in commercial real estate and earned an early promotion after leading training initiatives on new property management software, developing departmental standard operating procedures, and implementing improved filing systems.

Tré has been working in the commercial real estate industry for two years and holds a North Carolina Real Estate Broker’s License. He is particularly proud of spearheading an energy-efficiency initiative for two 20-year-old medical office buildings, resulting in cost savings of more than $20,000 per building annually.

Known for his approachability, clear communication, and calm demeanor under pressure, Tré strives to be a trusted resource for property owners who are intentional about improving and enhancing their assets. He is passionate about contributing to the growth and development of the communities he serves by helping clients maximize returns while fostering positive, functional spaces for businesses and tenants.

Outside of work, Tré enjoys writing and is currently developing a longform fantasy novel inspired by stories he began crafting in middle school. A fan of Marvel Comics and anime, he enjoys attending conventions and participating in cosplay. He lives with his husband, Joseph, and looks forward to continuing to grow both professionally and personally in the Charlotte community.
